2. The disk space of System Partition.
The disk space of System Partition must be more than 1G. ACA needs at least 1G disk space to perform smoothly.

  • 1) Besides Windows XP, does ACA support Windows 7 and Vista?
    Currently, ACA only supports Windows XP. The upcoming version of ACA will support Windows 7 and Vista.
  • 2) I have install an Antivirus Software and I want to install ACA. Will ACA conflict with it?

  • 3) I have installed an Antivirus software. Do I need to install ACA?

    Go to the download page http://www.anticrashassistant.com/download.php and download the latest version of ACA. Then uninstall old version of ACA and install the latest ACA.
  • 2) Is the serial number applicable for different versions of ACA?
    Yes! Serial number becomes invalid only due to expiration. It can be used for all versions of ACA.
  • 3) Where are the snapshots saved? Do they take up a lot of disk space?
    The snapshots are saved in the physical sector directly. They takes up a little disk space, normally no more than 1% of the total disk space.

    Technical And Compatible Problem

  • 1) Can I defragment my disk after I installed ACA?
    It's suggested that you not defragment your hard drive after installing ACA on your computer. Defragmentation will make ACA take up more disk space. If your computer slows down due to fragments, you can use ACA to restore a snapshot.
  • 2)Can I use Ghost to restore its snapshot after installing ACA?
    No. There is a lot of data saved the system partition. If you use Ghost to restore its snapshot, it will destroy all the data and lead to ACA not working properly.
